BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE
A lasting family home for Kwagala Ministries International
We believe God is leading us to build a secure, permanent home where boys who have faced trauma, instability, and loss can grow in faith, rebuild trust, and discover their purpose.
Thanks to God’s provision and the generosity of many supporters, the fundraising goal for Phase 2 has been met and early construction is now underway.
A stable place to grow isn't just our vision - it’s becoming a reality.
Phase 1 made the land possible (purchased in August) - three acres of hope and stability.
Phase 2 is now underway: the Boys’ Home is in early construction.
Phase 3 will build an office - a central space for staff, coordination, and daily ministry support.
Phase 4 will build a Community Center/Chapel - a hub for discipleship, education, and outreach
The Need
Kwagala is in need of a stable place to grow
Displacement: A 50% rent hike in 2024 forced relocation and loss of house improvements.
Current Home: Small rented space for 10 boys; limited room means turning away others in crisis.
Lost Resources: No gardens, no chickens, and less opportunity for self-sustainability.
Ongoing Risk: Renting brings unpredictable costs and prevents long-term improvements.
WHERE THINGS ARE AT
Phase 1 is complete, and Phase 2 is underway!
Kwagala completed Phase 1 by purchasing 3 acres of land where this vision can take root. With the Phase 2 fundraising goal now met, early construction on the Boys’ Home has begun.
The rendering on the right is an overview of how the land will be used across all four phases.

PHASE 2 PROJECT COST:
$225,000 CAD
fundraising goal now met
PHASE 2 GOAL REACHED
We are grateful to share that the full $225,000 CAD needed for Phase 2 has been raised. A generous donor family helped make this possible through a 2:1 matching commitment, and because of that provision, early construction is now underway on the Boys’ Home.
Gifts given now will help support construction progress, future building phases, and the ongoing ministry of caring for vulnerable boys.
